Pumpkin Experiment

We did a really cool science experiment today. We carved out the inside of a pumpkin and lit a candle inside of it. Then, we put the top back on the pumpkin and counted to 60. When we took the top off again, we saw that the candle had stopped burning. We learned that the flame was extinguished because it did not have access to oxygen.

Fire Safety

Firefighters came to school to teach us about fire safety. We got to walk through the fire engine and stand on the hose as it was turned on! It was so cool!

Make sure to watch the video!

Hoot Hoot!

Miss. Lousteau's friend, Miss. Emily, made us owl treats to go along with our new owl bulletin board! It was a great surprise!
